Sue Armstrong

Sue Armstrong, 84, of Emerald Lake in Pinson, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in Jasper, Alabama on November 29, 1933 to the late Steve and Onie Harris. Sue was preceded in passing by her husband of 59 years, Harvey A. Armstrong; her brothers Lloyd, Lawrence, Jesse, Paul, and Harold Harris; and her sisters Earlene Miller and Mildred Howell. She is survived by her children Suzanne Brown and her husband Mike and Sonny Armstrong and his wife Terri; sister Polly Smith; grandchildren Brandi Vines and her husband Brad, Nicholas Brown, and Reed Armstrong; great-grandchildren Cameron and Hudson Vines; and a host of other relatives and many, many friends.

Sue was a special woman who had the ability to make those around her feel loved and welcomed. She fiercely loved her family and always put them before herself. Sue was very involved in her Sunday school class at North Clay Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 24 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Service will follow on Friday, May 25 at 11:00 am at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Alabama.
