

Susan is survived by her husband of nearly 56 years, Bill Kervaski. She is also survived by her son, Bill Kervaski Jr. (Phoenix) of Trussville, Alabama, daughter, Shara Viles (Andres) of Hoover, Alabama. Two grandchildren, Halie Kervaski of Nashville, Tennessee, and Alex Viles of Hoover, Alabama.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Keith (Bud) Leasor, and mother, Mary Leasor. In addition, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Debbie Grau, Mary Pat Rowe, and Curt Leasor.
Growing up in Fairmont, West Virginia, Susan graduated from Fairmont Catholic High School and was a cheerleader during her tenure there. She also attended Fairmont State College. Susan spent her working career with various Orthopedic practices. Most notably, Andrews Sports Medicine of Birmingham, Alabama.
Susan enjoyed travel in her retirement years. Having been fortunate to travel from Hawaii to eastern Hungary, and many places in between. However, Ireland was her favorite due to her mother’s Irish roots. She never abandoned her West Virginia upbringing and always considered Fairmont, West Virginia home.
A funeral Mass for Susan will be held on Friday, February 14th at Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church, 8090 Gadsden Hwy Trussville, AL 35173 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation for family and friends held one hour prior to the service. Father Holloway will preside over the service. Casual dress is appropriate attire.
Per Susan’s request, she will be interred at the West Virginia National Cemetery where her father is buried. A graveside service will be held at West Virginia National Cemetery, 42 Veterans Memorial Lane, Grafton WV, 26354. The time and date will be announced.
