Tera I. McCombs of Ashville, AL was born on May 30, 1928 and passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, and Nana who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Moody, AL. Mrs. McCombs was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford M. McCombs; parents, William Elmo and Clara Maurine Parker; brothers, William Parker, Homer Parker, Thomas Parker, Ira Parker, and John Parker. She is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Diane McCombs Asmus (David); her granddaughter, Amanda Asmus; step-children, William McCombs and Peggy Counts; and five step-grandchildren; a sister, Maureen Hunter and a brother, Howard Parker; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A visitation will be held on Monday evening, April 29th at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 6 until 8 PM with chapel services on Tuesday beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
