Thelma N. Phillips, 84, of Trussville, AL passed away April 24, 2018. She was born to the late William C. and Ruth LeGrand in Birmingham. Thelma was preceded in passing by her infant brother, Douglas LeGrand. She is survived by her son, Kim Rea; siblings Robert Hershel LeGrand and Bettie LeGrand; cousin Craig Kirkland; and other relatives and friends. Thelma retired after more than 25 years from the Jefferson County Sheriff Department as a Dispatcher. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 28 from 4 - 5pm. Service will follow at 5pm.
