Smith, Velma “ Sue”, age 79 passed away Friday, February 17, 2012. She was born on April 26, 1932 in Cordova, Al to Samuel and Ocie Glover. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, J.W. “Hoss” Smith. Sue is survived by her loving children; daughters, Janet Holder (Larry) of Cleveland, Al, and Ann Stevens of Birmingham, Al; her son, Larry Smith (Jo Anne) of Greenville, TN; and her grandson, Rodgers Smith of Greenville, TN. Sue was a member of the Cropwell Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 20, 2012 at 12:00 Noon from Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with visitation from 10 AM until service time. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
