Vincent Luke Shannon

Luke was a quiet, thoughtful presence, someone who spoke few words but carried deep consideration and care for those around him. He had a creative spirit and found joy in pottery, appreciating the patience and intention the craft required.

He was a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and worked as an accountant at Kassouf Healthcare Solutions, drawing on an earlier background as an electrician that reflected his strong work ethic.

A devoted fan of Alabama football, Luke found enjoyment in following the team he loved. Those who knew him best will remember his steady nature, his introspection, and the calm way he moved through the world.

He is survived by his parents, Fay and Vince Shannon; brother, Clay Shannon; and other beloved family members. Special thanks to Jennie and Ingram Worley and Millie and Robby Ronnlund for their constant support.

A memorial service for family and close friends will be held at the Bluff Park United Methodist Church Chapel on Friday, January 9, 2026 beginning at 11:00 with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00.
