MIZE, VIRGINIA C. Mize, Virginia C., age 85 of Center Point, AL went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2011. She attended Center Point Free Will Baptist Church. Virginia worked the Jefferson County Board of Registers for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Mize; parents, Harry and Cornelia Chasteen; 4 brothers and 1 sister. Virginia is survived by her son, James A. Mize and his wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Allen Mize and his wife, Shelly and Andy Mize and his wife, Erin; great grandchildren, Carson and Macy Mize; sisters, Marjorie (Joe) Johnston of Fayetteville, TN, Annette Taylor of Fort Worth, TX and Ivene Brantley of Birmingham, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 7, 2011 from 10 AM until service time at 11 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn A. Hood.
