Vivian Case Green

Vivian Case Sanders-Green, 91, has passed from life here to LIFE in glory with her beloved Savior. She left this earth peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Her beloved husband, James Sanders; second husband, Samuel Willis Green; and her beloved daughter, Martha Rose Sanders McHale, preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Diana Sanders Vance (Dr. William); step daughters, Sally Morton (Rodney) and Ginger Green; grandchildren, Marykatheryn McHale Maertens (Sam), Eric Morton, Grace Morton, Virginia Pate, Alex Pate (Muriel); great-grandchildren, Myna Rose, Nila, Anna, and Cliff.

Vivian was extremely devoted to her family and children. They always came first, even when opportunities to advance her career were given up to be with them. Her legacy is her faith in her Savior. She wanted everyone to know Jesus. She had to priorities in life, Jesus and family. She was gracious to everyone who came to her home through her love and encouragement. She was always known to be the family cheerleader.

The family would like to thank the wonderful nursing staff at Comfort Care Hospice, especially Bryant, Myers, Leigh, and Elaine. They would also like to say a special thank you to Vivian’s sitters, Teresa, Linda, and Brenda.

A visitation for Vivian will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 9:30 am at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Vivian’s life at 10:30 am.
