
Wanda Leonard of Moody, Alabama passed away on March 30, 2019, at the age of 80. She was born on March 17, 1939, in Colbert County, Alabama to the late Edward and Hattie Willis. Wanda was a 1957 graduate of Woodlawn High School. Wanda is also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence (Larry) Leonard. They were married 39 years before his passing in 1995.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Bubba (Donna) Leonard of Trussville, AL; Lisa (Glenn) Bryant of Brooks, GA; and Scooter (Nancy) Leonard of Winter Garden, FL.; seven grandchildren, Emily Leonard (Trey) Gibson of New Orleans, LA; Marlee Leonard of Denver, CO; Michael Leonard of Trussville, AL; Christopher (Rachel) Bryant of LaGrange, GA; Aimee Bryant of Kingsland, GA; Joshua (Katie) Leonard of Spring Hill, FL; and Amanda Leonard (Greg) Andriano of Winter Garden, FL; and six great-grandchildren, Maddy Willingham; Jordan Bryant; Ethan Bryant; Sydney Bryant; Ansley Bryant; and Ariadne Leonard.
Wanda retired from the family business as the owner and operator of Magic City Saw Works and Classic Home Furniture. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Class.
Funeral service will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at 2:00 pm with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
