FRITSCH, WILLIAM “BILL” H. SR., age 94 of Birmingham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Carrol Fritsch; and son, William “Henry” Fritsch, Jr. He is survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer Clifton, Katie Fritsch, Andrew Fritsch (Autumn) and Chase Essary; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Fritsch-Essary (Trent); great-grandchildren, Ashton Clifton and Montana Clifton; and nephew, David W. Whitehurst (Sherry). Bill was born in Cincinnati, OH and moved to Birmingham while in high school. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Corpsman. Bill retired from Bellsouth after over 30 years. His family will celebrate his life on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 1-2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with his service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
