William Mathew (Bill) Neil was called home to our Lord on September 3rd, 2014. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Brown Neil, his parents, Mathew Peter and Dulsie Mae Neil. He is survived by his wife, Judy Ivey Neil, his sons, David Loren Neil and Daniel Scott Neil, his step children, Emily Ivey-Hare and Martin Christopher Ivey, and his grandchildren, Michael David Neil, Matthew Wade Neil, Loren Denise Neil, Rowan Lawrie-Neil, and Nic Morrison.
Bill is a member of Saint Alban's Episcopal Church in Bluff Park and Shades Crest Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th, 2 pm at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL. Visitation will be held from 12 until 2pm.
