William Charles Phillips, age 83 of Birmingham, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. He was the President of Regions Bank where he retired from and a member of The Healing Place Church of God. William is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Vennie Phillips. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty Rose Phillips; his sisters, Rachel Thomas, Leaora Ware, and Carolyn Runge; he is also survived by numerous nieces in nephews. The family will receive friends at Elmwood Chapel on Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with a Celebration of William’s Life beginning at 2:00 pm.
