Bill is survived by his children, Randolph Setser and Bradly Setser; and his grandchildren, Erin Setser, Benjamin Setser, Elliot Setser, Emily Setser and Brian Setser. He is predeceased by his parents, his first wife Beverly Setser, and second wife Ann Moon.
Bill was born in Washington D.C. on June 14, 1932 to Vernon and Lucille Setser. He graduated from Colby College in 1954 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and George Washington University in 1962 with a Master’s Degree in Chemistry. Bill also served in the United States Air Force from 1954 through 1958. He had a successful career as a Chemist at Pittsburgh Paints and Glass (Pittsburgh, PA and Houston, TX) and Induron Coatings (Birmingham, AL).
Bill married Beverly Setser on November 1, 1963 and raised their two children in Houston TX. He took great pride in the achievements of his two sons, coaching several of their sport’s teams and served as the Boy Scout Master for his son’s Boy Scout Troup. In addition, Bill was an avid reader, a lifelong Washington Redskins fan, and loved the symphony and listening to classical music.
