WOLAVER, William Edward “Coach”, Age 79, of Birmingham, AL, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 18, 2013. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Glenda Askins Wolaver; daughters: Kelli Ryan (Roger), Conni Barber (Gerald), and Amy Jetter; grandchildren: Jessica Sutherland (Chad); Jacob Self; David Ryan (Christy), Rebekah Tomlinson (Chace), Jason Barber, Abbey Broadley (Daniel), Chris Barber, Mariah Light,
Savannah Barber, Will Jetter and Olivia Jetter; great grandchildren: Ethan Sutherland, Presley Sutherland, and Sam Ryan; ... and all his many ballplayers. Funeral service and celebration of his life will be Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with visitation at 10 a.m. and service at 12 noon.
