Willie Blanch McGee, age 86 of Moody, AL passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Blanch was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chelsea McGee; a son, Bobby Dewight McGee; and sister, Dorothy Pennington. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Thelma “TJ” Davis (Phillip) and Sherry McGee; brothers, Robert E. Pennington (Nan) of Smoke Rise and L.C. “Billy” Pennington of Mulga; a sister, Janice Hester (Jim) of Vernon, AL; grandchildren, Leslie Brewer (Alan), Dennis Smith (Wendy), and Keith Butler; great grandchildren, Gage Blanton, Maggie Brewer, Murphy Smith, Chelsea Smith, Emma Blanton, Michael Brewer, Isaac Brewer, Quentin Butler, Reagan Butler, Kody Butler, and Dylan Butler.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 17th at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with visitation beginning at 10 am followed by chapel services at 11 am. Interment will be 3 pm in Furnace Hill Cemetery in Vernon, AL.
