Zelda Graves Carson

CARSON, ZELDA GRAVES Carson, Zelda Graves age 87 passed away Sunday March 28, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Carl W. Carson, sons Carl Robert "Bobby" and Stephen Graves Carson. She is survived by brother Milton "Buddy" Graves, sons Richard (Angie)Carson, Dr. Phillip (Sherri) Carson and daughters Lenda (R.C.) Farmer, Brenda (Marty) Roberson and Robin (Jimmy) Willmon. Grandchildren Scott (Sherry) Carson, Cara Nelson, Sheree Trautwein, Lisa (Paul) Hager, Charles "C.R." (Jaime)Burell, Suzi (Jonathan) Tillitski, Micky (Christine) Roberson, Brooke (Scott) Bailey, Jimbo Willmon, Beth Ann Willmon, Kit Willmon, Phillip "Buddy" Carson and Jennipher Carson. 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren. She was loved by all those who knew her. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School Class of 1940. A member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for 55 years teaching Sunday School for most of them. She served as church hostess for 18 years. She also enjoyed visiting Huffman Baptist Church. She spent several years as a Ladies Auxiliary Member at Medical Center East. Funeral service will be Wednesday March 31, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday March 30, 2010 from 5 until 7 P.M. at Ridout's Trussville Chapel.
