

Arthur R. Brown, age 69, of Bloomington, died Sunday morning at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born April 15, 1943 in Bloomington, he was the son of Arthur H. and Alpha E. (Wood) Brown. He was a self-employed journeyman plumber and a member of the Westside Church of Christ. He loved collecting antiques as well as building, gardening and crafting projects and hanging out with his buddies at Hardees.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Virginia (Cardwell) Brown, whom he married on January 26, 1962, two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Paula Brown, of Paragon and Terry and Kim Brown, of Fishers; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Mike Runyon, of Bloomington; one sister, Mary Palmer, of Willow Springs, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Chad Brown, Allison Brown, Zackary Runyon, Audrey Brown, Sara Runyon, Anna Brown and Holly Ann Brown and one great-grandchild, Olive Mae Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Corey Brown.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 P.M. Thursday at Day Funeral Home in Bloomington with Pastor John Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 10:00A.M.until the time of service at the funeral home.
