B. Joan Alexander

B. Joan Alexander of Bloomington passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019. She was born in Bloomington, Indiana on May 26, 1929 and was the daughter of William and Mary Ann Scott. She is survived by her loving children Angelia (Radel) of Richmond, Indiana and Stephen of Cortland, Ohio, her niece Margaret May of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years Clarence Sr., son Clarence Jr. her parents, a grandson Andrew Radel, a granddaughter Marijo Grant and son-in-law George Radel as well as 9 sisters and 2 brothers. She was grandmother to eight children and great grand-mother to ten. She worked at Sam's Club and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed reading and traveling. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home 4150 East Third Street in Bloomington with a rosary being said at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Bloomington. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
