Charlotte Jane Walters

Services for Charlotte Walters, 87, who died Sunday September 23 in New Braunfels, Texas, will be at 1:00pm Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Day and Deremiah -Frye Mortuary, 4150 E Third St. The Reverend Curt Deming will officiate. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Born May 8, 1931 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of William (Doc) and Marietta (Wylie) Boltinghouse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she married Gene Walters July 3, 1949 and celebrated 62 years with him before his death in 2011. Charlotte owned and worked at the Dairy Crest from 1966 to 1978. She was a licensed beautician at the Wig Wam until her health in 2013 forced her retirement. Survivors include her daughter Kim Bushey and significant other Ed Connolly of New Braunfels, Texas, nephew Dan Read of Ft Myers, Florida, Granddaughters Teddy Bushey and Gina Hayward and husband Jim. Great Grandsons Parker and Charlie Hayward of New Braunfels, Texas. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
