

Delores Thomas lost her life battle on February 14th 2024 at Hospice House of Bloomington In, we as her family has lost an Amazing person to us all. Delores showed love to everyone whom she came in contact with, she was our Rock her shoulders became a resting place for her siblings, nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends. Her presences will be missed greatly.
Delores was born April 20th in Arcola Mississippi, to the late A.C. And Minnie Thomas, she was fortunate to have traveled the country and reside in many different states, that was one of her greatest pleasures, she was a Specialist in the Healthcare field winning many Awards for her work, she also enjoyed fishing, gardening and was an expert at crossword puzzles. But her greatest joy was having her family around her enjoying conversations about the old days. She was a mother to many and a great listener to all. We Honor her memory.
Delores leaves 3 brothers, Eddie Thomas Sr. of Orlando, Florida, Cleveland Thomas, Bloomington In, Theodore Thomas also Bloomington. 3 Sisters Mary Clark, Evansville Indiana, Beatrice Brantley of Bloomington Indiana, and Charlene Brantley of Eastpointe Michigan, one Brother in law Bennie Brantley Sr. and one Sister in law Pamela Thomas both of Bloomington, as well as a vast amount of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nephews and Great Nieces many cousins and friends. A special health care family Interim Health Care Nurses and Health staff whom she Adored and they Adored her. So rest my dear Sister until Psalms 37:11 is fulfilled (The meek will possess the Earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace)
There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 East Third Street, Bloomington.
