Donald Lee Drake Sr.

Don graduated from Bloomington High School in 1962. He was a United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran. He was an avid archer, fisherman, and coin collector. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Don is survived by his four children, Donald Lee Drake, Jr. (Heather Beatley), Martin Howard Drake, Stephanie Jo (Dwight) Deckard, Jennifer Ellen (Robert) England; and their mother, Donna Lee Duprey; a sister, Linda (Bud) Kinser and their sons Buddy and Mac; nine grandchildren, Kayla (Joshua) Dusseau, Tiffany Drake (B.J. Yon), Michael (Kayti) Deckard, Brandon England, Corwin Deckard (Bailey Foust), Kayla Dawn Drake (fiancé Kevin Dobson), Donald Lee Drake, III, and Alexander and Nicholas England; three great grandchildren, Julian Deckard, Riley Dusseau, and Zoey Dobson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Drake, and his best friend Jim Swearingen.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Day Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Day Funeral Home
