Donna Sue Michael

Donna was an only child and devoted to her parents. She and her parents went on many trips together and enjoyed each other’s company.

Donna worked for Indiana Bell for 13 years, she then worked for Indiana University Food Service for 29 years before retiring in 1998.

Donna was very active in Fairview United Methodist Church where she was a member for 50 years. She was active in the community of Bloomington having memberships in Phi Beta Psi Sorority(50 years), The Tops Club, The Sweet Adeline’s, Farm Bureau board member, Peden’s Farm Festival, Lyons Club of Harrodsburg, Ag Day Breakfast Committee, Bible study at Sherwood Oaks, 3 T’s Home Economics Club, Victory Sunday School class, United Methodist Women and a volunteer at Fairview United Methodist Church.

Donna has four cousins: Barbara Dutton, Nancy Piercefield, Gary Piercefield and Saramae McLaughlin.

A gathering of family and friends will be held in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, IN 47401 on September 24, 2015 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1p.m. with Rev. Douglas Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Phi Beta Psi Sorority or Fairview United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
