
Doris Mary (Vukobratovich) Moynihan, age 86, of Bloomington, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Bloomington Hospital surrounded by her family. Born March 29, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Marko and Mary (Drakulich) Vukobratovich. She lives on in the hearts and memories of her surviving children; Mark (Holly) Moynihan, of Florence, OR; Robert (Suellen)Moynihan, of Bloomington; Carol (Nick)Macmillan, of Bargersville, IN; Art (Corinne) Moynihan, of Ellettsville, IN and Melissa (Craig) Spanburg, of Bloomington. She is also survived by her uncle, George (Mary) Drakulich, nephew, George (Brenda) Drakulich, niece, Kathleen (Peter) Fink and nephew, Dan (Elaine) Glumac. She adored her grandchildren; Matt Moynihan, Ryan Moynihan, Bristy Day, Jamison Day, Caitlin Glenn, Erik Karasyk, James Moynihan, Chris Moynihan, Rob Moynihan, Stephanie Moynihan, Mary Luther, and Nick Spanburg and her great-grandchildren; Mason, Lexi, Sabrina, Cody, Doria, Koa, Beatriz, and Miles. “Nonnie” was also aware of two more great-grandchildren to be born in 2011. Her gift was making each one feel especially loved and adored. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Maryellen Zimmerman, granddaughter, Jennifer and cousin, Bob (Mitzi) Glumac. Doris retired at age 74 after working in the legal field in Chicago for many years. She was a member of St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church in Chicago.
A private family memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Day Funeral Home in Bloomington with Rev. Mary Cartwright officiating.
