Edwin S. Ramage, Professor Emeritus of Indiana University, passed away October 25. He was 85. Mr. Ramage was born in Vancouver, British Columbia July 19, 1929. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia, his Master of Arts degree from the University of Illinois and his PhD in Classical Studies from the University of Cincinnati. He spent his entire career as a faculty member at Indiana University's Department of Classical Studies.
He and his wife, Shirley Sue Ramage, were married in 1956 and remained married for 57 years until her death November 14, 2013.
Mr. Ramage is survived by his children and will be greatly missed.
