

Gwendoline Hagemeier, 89, of Bloomington, died Friday at her residence in the Monroe House in Bloomington. Born October 28, 1923, in Bedford, England, she was the daughter of George and Clara (Woodger) Goswell. She was a homemaker and a member of the North Central Church of Christ where she was involved with the Senior Seekers. She also truly enjoyed knitting.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Larry “Butch” Thomas, of Bloomington, and Kristina “Kris” and Dan Murphy, of Franklin, Indiana; four grandchildren, Todd Trosper, of Franklin, Indiana, Eric (Michelle) Trosper, of Noblesville, Indiana, Brent Thomas, of Bloomington, and Sasha (Bobby) Davis, also of Bloomington; eight great-grandchildren, Nicole Trosper, Tyler Trosper, Victoria Trosper, Tanner Trosper, Taya Trosper, Kobe Davis, Hallie Davis and Annie Davis; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leslie and Cynthia Goswell and Roy and Margaret Goswell, and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Doris Coppenhall and Eileen and Trevor Reynolds, all of Bedford, England. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hagemeier Jr.; her parents; one granddaughter, Tamara Lynn Trosper; and one brother, George Goswell.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Day Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Humphreys and Bro. Bobby Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
