

The family of Harriet J. Bromley 96, of Bloomington, Indiana mourns her passing. Born November 29, 1914 in Van Wert County Ohio to Myrtle (Wilson) and Reuben Foust entered into rest December 27, 2010.
Her memory will be cherished by sons, Wesley L. Bromley and Harold D. Hardesty of Chandler, Arizona; a daughter Maureen S. Bromley (Gerald Murphy) of Ellettsville, In; 3 Grandchildren; Randy Wroblewski (Cathy), California, Kent Thompson (Jo Ratts) Bloomington, In and Kari Newton (Terry), Stoney Creek Ontario Canada, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, and loving nieces who survive. She was deeply loved by all who knew her.
She is reunited in death with her husband of 57 years, Maurice L. Bromley who passed on January 22, 1992, her parents, a sister, Frieda Lindsey and a nephew Roger Lindsey.
She graduated from Syracuse High School in 1933. On January 24, 1935 she married the love of her life Maurice L. Bromley. Harriet moved from New Carlisle Indiana to Bloomington IN in 1995 and enjoyed many good times with her family and friends. She was a member of Epworth Memorial Methodist Church in South Bend and also a lifelong member of the Lakeville Eastern Star.
There will be no services. Burial will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Edison Road in South Bend, IN on December 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
Many thanks to her caregivers and all that loved her at Richland Bean Blossom Rehabilitation Center in Ellettsville, IN for their excellent care during her short stay, where she resided since Sept. 2010.
