Joann Elizabeth Pryor

Joann Elizabeth Pryor, age 81, of Spencer, Indiana, was called home to be with our heavenly father on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis after a hard battle with pneumonia and Covid. She was an angel on earth, but now has gained her wings. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her, but never forgotten. She was loving soul who loved with all her heart, and touched all those she came in contact with. She worked for the IU Student Health Center for 42 yrs., working from home the last two years. She took a lot of pride that she was able to still work full time at her age.

She leaves behind her five of six children, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, Sheri-Terry Craig (Kayla and Bo Logan), Terri Robinson (Tasha Robinson- Ethan and Gavin, Raymond Robinson (Nick Robinson – Mason – Arianna and Luna, Mark Robinson – Austin), Dee Dee Millang (Kendall, Lauren and Cameron), Angie – Reed Hodges (Hayden).

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Sterrett, her father, Floyd Benton Sterrett, her son, Mark Robinson, her sister, Donna L. Walker and her brother, Joseph N. Sterrett.

As requested by Joann, a private family service will be held at a later date.
