

Joshua was a man of many interests. He loved to read, travel, cook, play and watch tennis. He had an incredible sense of humor and embraced all of life’s opportunities. He was a kind and loving husband, son, brother, and friend. He will be incredibly missed.
Joshua was born in Columbus, Indiana and grew up in Bloomington and Indianapolis Indiana. He graduated from Bloomington High School North and attended Wabash College with a degree in Psychology. During his time at Wabash he was on the tennis team, traveled to South Africa, and made lifelong friends. On August 9, 2008 Josh married Holly Burton of Dubois, Indiana. Following their wedding he graduated from Valparaiso University with a Master in Psychology and his MBA in 2015. Upon completing his masters he was the Executive Director of AccessAbilities, INC in Bloomington Indiana. His most recent position was at Meadows Hospital as Director of Development and Partial Hospital Programs. Joshua excelled in his advocacy for those who were suffering. His compassion and willingness to help others made him a leader in the community and helped push the boundaries to meet unmet needs in the community. He is survived by his wife Holly Paul (Burton). Parents: Randy Paul and Linda Grove-Paul and Richard Flis. Siblings: Kate Paul(Sarah Paul), Kristi Paul(Billy Snyder), Jackie Paul(Evan Niner), Megan Stahly-Paul (Wil Stahly), Samantha Paul(Franz Hubner). He was preceded in death by his mom Jane Flis and grandparents Dave and Joan Burt.A celebration of Joshua’s life will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. with a memorial service at 6 p.m. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E.
