Out of the night a star shone bright, Sending its gleam afar,
The pathway of life is hard and rough, Follow me, I'm the Charity Star.
A little girl saw and heeded the call
And straightway the gospel spread.
She wears a shield and with love it is sealed,
Pray, who can this little girl be?
Why, she's a Kappa Kappa Sigma Girl
And she wears the coral and gray.
Her heart is light, her eye is bright,
You'll see her smile always:
And when trouble comes to man or child
She freely gives to all
A helping hand throughout the land,
Here's to you, Kappa Sigma Girl!
