Larry Dale Page

Larry was a 1973 graduate of Hamlin High School in Hamlin, West Virginia and a proud graduate of West Virginia Institute of Technology in 1977 where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. During his college years, he was an active member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, forging lifelong friendships and values that would carry throughout his life.

On October 14, 1978, Larry married the love of his life, Dawana (Gentry) Page in Paragon, Indiana. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and purpose. They raised two children—Meredith (Page) Collins of Houston, Texas, and Garrett Page of Auburn, Indiana.

Larry retired from Rosemount in 2009 to pursue his passion of owning his own business.

Larry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He found great joy in his family and was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Dawana Page; daughter Meredith Collins and her husband Casey, along with their daughter Caroline; and son Garrett Page and his wife Emily, along with their children Aubree, Bryce, Caitlyn and Dilynn.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law Nancy (Carrico) Page and her children James III, Brandon, Jessica, Alicia Page and Jeff Brown all of West Virginia.

Larry was predeceased by his parents, his brother, James Robert Page, Jr.

Larry’s life was marked by a deep love for family, a strong work ethic, and a gentle strength that touched all who knew him. He was always the project focused, fix-it man. He loved being outdoors and treasured his annual fishing trip to the West Virginia mountains. He served diligently at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in several capacities including deacon, elder and expansion projects.

A gathering of family and friends for Larry will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. 3rd St, Bloomington, Indiana 47401. A gathering of family and friends will occur Friday, May 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, 2700 E Rogers Rd, Bloomington, Indiana 47401. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, 2700 E Rogers Rd, Bloomington, Indiana 47401. All friends and family are welcome to come and be a part of the funeral service.

Larry will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 3100 Burma Rd, Gosport, IN 47433.
