Lesa Jane Meyer, age 61, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Morgantown Woods of Journey Health Care after a long illness. Born August 19, 1963 in Martinsville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Herbert L. and Pauline (Mullis) Lemon. Lesa worked as a medical records clerk at the Indiana University Student Health Center in Bloomington prior to her health concerns. She enjoyed being with her family and the outdoors.
Lesa is survived by her son, Bryce Meyer, of Kingman, Arizona, daughter, Kaylee Meyer, of Morgantown, West Virginia; two brothers, Ken (Kaye) Lemon, of Knoxville, Tennessee and Robert (Marcia) Lemon, of Thomas, West Virginia and her ex-husband and legal guardian, Ronald Meyer, of Ellettsville, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Diana Nestor.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
