EN EL CUIDADO DE
Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home
Lisa Rae Bowlen, 51, of Bloomington passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Lisa was a lifelong resident of Monroe County born on October 16, 1969 to Raymond and Judy (Robertson) Taylor. Lisa was a dedicated Department of Public Works employee for over twenty years, most recently with the Fleet Maintenance Division.
Lisa leaves behind her parents Raymond and Judy Taylor, her loving fiancé Brad Frankland, her son Brady Bowlen, his wife Aleksandra, Brad’s son Alex Frankland, as well as her grand-dogs Gunner and Nova that she enjoyed pet sitting for. Lisa also leaves behind a community of family and friends that she cared for dearly.
Lisa loved her family and friends fiercely, and there was never a dull moment when she was present. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, celebrating holidays, and traveling to anywhere a beach was close. She attended Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.
If you knew Lisa, you knew that she would always have a radiating smile to greet you, and you knew she was going to be quick with laughter and helpful in any way she could be. In her passing, Lisa continued giving by being an organ and tissue donor.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 4-8pm at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E Third St. Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 1pm at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home.
