Lloyd R. Sexton, age 83, of Bloomington, died Saturday afternoon at the Morgan County Hospital and Medical Center. Born January 21, 1928 in Bloomington, he was the son of James G. and Catherine Sexton. He graduated from Odon High School and was a salesman for International Paper and later U.S. Ink. He loved to be outdoors fishing and golfing. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W.II
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis K. (Waldon) Sexton, of Bloomington; one son, Jim Sexton, of Coatesville; one daughter, Sue Schroerlucke, of Sidney, Ohio; one step-daughter, Donna Lee Vance, of Indianapolis; two step-sons, Jeffrey L. Cahen, of Lebanon, Indiana and Robert Mark Cahen, of West Virginia, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Michael William Sexton in 1990 and two brothers, Wendell Sexton and one in infancy.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Day Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the family immediately following the service at the funeral home.
