Lola Thorpe

Lola Ann Thorpe, age 64, of Bloomington, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born December 8, 1946, she was the daughter of Robert Vernon and Annabell (Brannon) Thorpe.

Lola was a Division Manager for Sears. She was a member of the Mercy Mission Apostolic Church.

Lola is survived by her son Zane Thorpe, of Bloomington, two sisters, Sarah Lynn Thorpe of Bloomington and Anita Rose Thorpe of Bedford. Three brothers, Michael ( Sue) Thorpe of Indianapolis, Jade (Martha) Thorpe of Texas, and Phillip (Anne) Thorpe of Bedford. Nieces & Nephews: Alexis, Sasha, Ian, Noah, Ethan, Seth, Whitney, Courtney, Tiffany, Rob (Rachel), Brittany & Brandon. Cousins: Phyllis Blount & family, William Hartfield & family, Lonnie Jay Hartfield, Pastor Helen Hartfield & family.

Lola leaves behind many church families, friends, acquaintances & her pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Morris Thorpe.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1:00pm at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Pastor Helen Hartfield officiating. Entombment will follow the service.
