Marion "Bob" F. Hawkins

Bob retired from RCA after 42 years. He was a member of Pillar of Fire Tabernacle in Bedford, IN. He was an avid I.U. basketball fan and he loved his animals, especially his dogs. He enjoyed camping, gardening, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Audrey; his four sons, David (Paula) Hawkins, Joe (Kelly) Hawkins, Steve (Jane) Hawkins, and Randy Hawkins; three sisters, Margie Robbins, Faye Sparks, and Wanda Peterson; a son-in-law, John Livingston; thirteen grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three daughters, Linda Livingston, Teresa Burris, and Jenny Lynn Hawkins, brothers, Floyd and Bill Hawkins; and four sisters and a brother from Kentucky.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Day Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2012 and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Day Funeral Home
