 Obituario de Mark Emerson Weaver
Mark Emerson Weaver, age 54, passed away at IU Hospice House Friday, August 24, 2018 in Bloomington, Indiana after a long illness. His last day was peaceful and without pain, his constant companion for over eleven years. Mark was born on February 4, 1964 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to Jean Frances Weaver (Uhlman) and Emerson J. Weaver. Later, he and his mother moved to Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, where he graduated from Ft. Walton Beach High School. Later, his brother convinced him to move to Bloomington, Indiana, where he found his vocation volunteering as an announcer at WFHB Bloomington Community Radio as Reverend Bogustus, sharing his vast knowledge of popular music. Later, when he discovered that his kidneys were failing, his mother retired from her position as critical care nurse at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center to help him through the long process of qualifying for the dialysis program. She was his caregiver until her health failed. After that, Mark lived in his own apartment, assisted by Home Health Care and his brother and sister, until his health became so precarious that he moved to Richland-Bean Blossom Health Care Center where their community of caregivers and residents helped support him during his final two years. He made many friends there, at DaVita Dialysis, Area 10 Agency on Aging, IU Health Bloomington Hospital, Centerstone, Cambridge Square Apartments, and everywhere he went. The family wishes to thank everyone who helped their brother through those difficult years. Mark is survived by his brother Bill, sister Veronica Renfrow (Frank), her daughter Anna Becker (Geoffrey), and Anna's children Kate and Finn. A memorial service will be held on September 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home, 25615 State Road 1, Dover, Indiana. Afterwards, Mark will rest with his mother, Jean, in the cemetery of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to WFHB Community Radio, 108 W. 4th St. Bloomington, IN 47404, or through their website at http://wfhb.org/.
