

Mary Lou Day, 82, of Bedford passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 in White River Lodge, Bedford. She was born February 15, 1941 in Harrodsburg to James Beyers and Mary Andis Beyers. She was retired from Monroe Hospital.
Survivors include her son, Ashley D. Barrow of Bedford; a sister, Autumn Billings; step children, Hollis Day, Marsha Fish and Sheila LaDezma; a niece, Becky Zody; a nephew, Norman Altop; and her beloved cat, Boots. She was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband, Vernal Daniel Barrow;’ her 2nd husband Kelsey Reed Day; a son, Daniel Reed Day who died in infancy; a brother, James Beyers; a sister, Claudine Altop; and a nephew, Richard Altop.
Mary loved animals, she also liked spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, fishing, camping, gardening and her pets.
There will be a Graveside Service on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Roy Hughes officiating in the Mausoleum Chapel at Valhalla Memory Gardens, 310 North Johnson Avenue. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home.
