Patricia Reed Kingsbury

Patricia Reed Kingsbury, 86, of Bloomington, died Monday, October 21, 2013 in her home. She was born March 17, 1927 in Auburn, New York to Edwin Reed and Ann Reed. Patricia was a former Professor at I.U. and was a lifetime Board Member of the Monroe County Chapter of the American Red Cross and an avid supporter of the annual Red Cross Book Sale. She attended Maple Grove Christian Church and was very involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives.

Survivors include four children, Mark Kingsbury and his wife Donna of Bloomington, Elaine McMunn and her husband Forrest of Bloomington, Pamela Armenti of Ellettsville and Glenn Kingsbury and his wife Toni of Jeffersonville; thirteen grandchildren, Jason Kingsbury, Robin Kingsbury, Kyle Kingsbury, ShaLarria Kingsbury, Erica Kingsbury, Cody Kingsbury, Michael Kingsbury, Kadi Kingsbury, Sine McMunn, Fiona Henry and her husband David, Chris Kingsbury, Danielle Armenti and Amanda Dickerson and her husband Brandon; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, Robert Kingsbury; and a grandson, Cory Kingsbury.

Per her request there will be no services or visitation. If friends so desire, Memorial Contributions may be given to the Monroe County Chapter of the American Red Cross, 411 East 7th St., Bloomington, IN 47408, or the building fund for Maple Grove Christian Church, 1503 West Simpson Chapel Rd., Bloomington, IN 47404.
