Patsy June (Mills) Walker

Patsy June Mills-Walker, age 77, of Bloomington, passed away Tuesday evening, June 14, 2022 at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born August 19, 1944 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Druen and Vivian (Warner) Mills. Patsy worked at the Kroger West grocery store for 18 years. She formerly had worked at R.C.A. Patsy loved her dog, Pooh, and watching the hummingbirds in her yard. She was also an avid New York Yankees fan. She was a member of the ladies auxiliaries of the Moose Lodge, V.F.W. and American Legion.

Patsy is survived by her two daughters; Renee (Lynn) Johnson and Kim (Greg Garrison) Stephens, both of Bloomington; six siblings, Carol Deckard, of Bloomington, Jerry Mills, of Georgia, Joyce Harding, of Bloomington, Jon Mills, of Martinsville, and Dick Mills and Bill Mills, both of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Kwinton Stephens, Kyle (Haley) Stephens, Lynsey (James) Brown and Kelsey (John) Crider, five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Camryn, Matti, Rylie and Jayla and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sharon Merry.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
