Randall Arthur Sira

Randy was born July 23, 1963 in Bloomington, Indiana. He moved to Chesapeake in October 2009 where he developed many cherished friendships.

Randy is survived by 3 brothers: James Augusta Smith (Dow) of Chesapeake, VA, Charles Howard Sira, and Johnnie Lee Smith (Leslie) both of Bloomington, Indiana; 3 sisters: Nancy Ann Conner (Wade) and Mary Christina Smith both of Bloomington, Indiana, Marti (Anna) Hannah Sira Walls (Dallas) of Heath Springs, SC; 17 nieces and nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews; a half brother, Gerard Nicholas Sira, Jr and half sister, Rita Marie (Sira) Yanez both of Wenden, Arizona; a son, David Lanham and a daughter, Cheryl Lanham both of Indiana; and Margaret Sieber (a motherly friend in Chesapeake, Virginia).

Randy is preceded in death by Martha Carolyn (Kerr) Smith (mother), Johnnie H. Smith (dad), and Gerard Nicholas Sira (birth father).

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 12 P.M. – 6 P.M. at Day Funeral Home, 4150 East Third St, Bloomington, Indiana.

The funeral service will be on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Day Funeral Home, 4150 East Third St, Bloomington, Indiana. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
