Ronald Lee Terrell, age 80, of Bloomington, died Saturday morning (06/08/19) at Garden Villa in Bloomington. Born March 17, 1939 in Monroe County, he was the son of Leo and Donetta (Sipes) Terrell. Ronald retired as a maintenance supervisor at the Indiana Memorial Union. He was a member of the Stanford Masonic Lodge #173 where he was a Past Master and a member of the Solsberry American Legion. Ronald enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Reba Irene (Newton) Terrell, of Bloomington; two daughters and one son-in-law, Theresa and Jim Mobley, of Spencer and Julie Burton, of Greene County, one grandson he raised, Joey Terrell, of Branchville, Indiana; four other grandchildren, Justin Chambers, Ashlie Chambers, Matthew Sparks and Joshua Whaley, six great-children and three sisters, Janet Rose (Bob) Shields, of Bloomington, Sue (Jack) Day, of Ellettsville and Bonnie Newton, of Bloomington.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Kelly Whaley, his brother, James Steven Terrell and twin great-granddaughters in infancy.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. with Chaplain Kerry Ascher officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A masonic memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday
