Rose was a member of Southern Hills Church of Christ in Bloomington, IN and past member of Highland Village Church of Christ in Bloomington, IN and Central Church of Christ in Bedford, IN. She was also a member of the Walk-A- Lot Home-Ec Club in Bloomington, IN.
Rose enjoyed reading, watching westerns and sporting events, most notably football. She most loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Rose is survived by her two sons, Ryan Spoonmore and his wife Beth of Greenwood, IN and Ricky Spoonmore and his wife Lori of Bloomington, IN; a sister, Rita Rexroat and her husband Larry of Russell Springs, KY; a brother, Rick Burks of Bloomington, IN; two beloved grandchildren, Harper and Lincoln Spoonmore; and several nephews and a niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Roger Dale Spoonmore, and a brother, Randy Burks.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 East Third Street, officiated by Brother Pat Arthur. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday before the service.
