Roy Allen Briles

Hobbieville on December 18th, 1938 to parents Ruth (Shoufler) Briles and William Edgar Briles.

Roy spent the majority of his career taking on various responsibilities for Wetterau, the large

food wholesaling firm. Roy was active in several churches and also served as a Sunday school

teacher. He enjoyed spending time with his family and exploring the world with his wife, Lorna.

Roy is survived by his loving wife, Lorna (Chandler) Briles; children David ( Rickie Anderson)

and Deborah Howard; grandchild Brittany Moser; and great-grandchildren Ava Moser and

Everett Moser.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ruth Briles; siblings Harold, Bill, and

Carole; and his previous wife, Helen Smith.

Roy will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 East Third St, Bloomington, IN 47401, US, on June 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
