Roy Earl Freeman, 82, of Bloomington died Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in his home. He was born June 25th, 1940 in Owen County, Indiana to Roy Freeman and Virginia Edwards Freeman. He was a long-time employee of Bloomington Hospital.
Survivors include sons, Richard Freeman of Bloomington, David E. Freeman, and Mark E. Freeman; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brothers, Virgil Freeman, Fred Freeman, and Billy Freeman; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Freeman; his parents; a son, Jimmy Freeman; and brothers, Richard Freeman, Charles Freeman, and Jack Freeman.
There will be a time of visitation on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10am-12:30pm at Day and Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home (4150 E. 3rd Street, Bloomington, IN 47401). Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 22nd at 12:30pm at the funeral home as well. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
