Shirley Maxine Gauldin

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Max Spears, and Bonnie Woods, her sister Bonita Davis, and brother Clarence “Gene” Spears and her husband Calvin Gauldin.

Shirley leaves behind her brothers David Spears and Donald “Donnie” Spears (Patricia) , sons Calvin Gauldin Jr, and James “Jimmy” Conley (Crystal), Grandchildren Billie Hundley, Betty Howell (James) “BJ”,Richard Gauldin, Angela Gauldin, Jeremy Gauldin (Nicole), Ashley Graves (Jonathan), Dustin Hundley (Anna), Kyla Hundley and his great grandchildren Virginia, Harlie,James, Jackson, Alexis, Madelyn, Olivia, Abigail, Oliver, Gracie, Eli, Rosie, Kayanna, Kieley, Hunter, Bentley, Maizykeen and many other friends and family.

Shirley and Calvin had a love like no other, they would bicker and pick on each other all the time, but they were two peas in a pod. They never went anywhere without one another.

Shirley adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would do anything for them. She gave tough love though. Some people thought she could be mean, but she just wanted to push you to be the best that you could be. She wouldn’t hesitate to give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, on Thursday August 15, 2024 Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Prior to the service visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm. Entombment will be held at Valhalla Memory Gardens following service.
