Steven Harold Lucas, age 67, of Bloomington, passed away Friday morning (02/04/22) at IU Health Bloomington Hospital with his boys by his side. Born June 23, 1954 in Bloomington, he was the son of Harold and Mabel (Mullis) Lucas.
Steve grew up in Unionville and participated on the Unionville High School basketball and track teams. He was a long time mechanic and auctioneer and owner of Lucas Automotive and Lucas Auction Service. He enjoyed Indiana Basketball and racing his car at area racetracks.
Steve is survived by his sons, Brian (Mika) Lucas and Brad (Laura) Lucas, of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Parker Lucas, Conor Lucas, Abbie Lucas, Hadley Lucas, and Molli Lucas; Sister Anna Johnson and Brother-in-law Larry Johnson of Florida; along with several nieces and nephews.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Wilma Chandler, Sue Terrell and Kathy Evans.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Mt Gilead Cemetery.
