John 14:1-3
Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God: believe also in me. My father’s house has many rooms: I am going there to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me. That you also may be where I am.
Poem: “Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep”
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush.
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.
