Tracy Lynn Shepherd

Tracy Lynn (White) Shepherd, age 52, of Bloomington, passed away Tuesday evening at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospice House. Born October 31, 1965 in Sullivan, Indiana, she was the daughter of Lawrence “Pete” and Sara Jane (Cunningham) White. Tracy attended Bloomington High School South where she was a Flag Girl and twirled under Nick Michaelaris. She went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse after graduating from Ivy Tech. Tracy worked at the Brown County Community Health and Living from 1990 to 2013. Tracy is survived by her mother and step-father, Sara Jane and John D. Davenport, of Bloomington; one daughter, Ashley H. Shepherd, of Helmsburg, Indiana and two sons, Justin A. Shepherd and Jacob M. Shepherd, also of Helmsburg; three grandchildren, Cameron M. Hash and John T. Allender, both of Helmsburg and Emma Shepherd, of Avon, Indiana; three step-brothers, Andrew (wife, Kathleen) Davenport, of Winchester, Massachusetts, Greg (wife, Christine) Davenport, of Bloomington and Allen “Cork” White, of Elnora, Indiana and one step-sister, Julie (husband, Dave) Hinkle, of Washington, Indiana. Tracy was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, James and Vinona Cunningham, paternal grandparents, Hugh and Helen White and great-grandparents, Marshall and Dorothy Shepherd The funeral service will be on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield, Indiana at 3:00 p.m. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be given to I.U.
