Troy Doyle Smith of Ellettsville, passed away surrounded by his loving family in I.U. Health Hospital on August 27, 2014. He was 39 years old, born to Eric Doyle Smith and Virginia(Halsey)Taylor on June 20, 1975.
Troy was an auto technician, working for Royal South Toyota for 17 years. He had a passion for the San Francisco 49ers, enjoyed a good game of golf and modifying hotrods in his spare time.
Troy is survived by his mother Virginia Taylor and step-father Rodney Lee Taylor, his two children: Eric Lee Smith and Sarah Ann Smith and his brother Vincent James Smith. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles.
Troy was preceded in death by his father Eric Doyle Smith.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 5-6 p.m. with the service beginning at 6 p.m. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, IN 47401. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd., Theodore, Alabama 36582 on Saturday, September 6, 2014.
