Wallace Earl Benson, 92, of Bloomington, passed away at IU Hospice House on Monday, July 13, 2015 after only being there only a few hours.
Wally was born and raised in Bloomington to the late Walter and Pearl(Treadway)Benson. He was in the Army Air Force during WWII in England where he met his wife Elaine Kurzon. Wally is survived by his daughter Pat and her husband Dale Conard. He has two grandsons; James Buskirk and Andrew Benson and two great granddaughters; Ellie and Anna Benson. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine, son Robert John Benson and his brother John Benson.As per Wally’s request, there will be no service.Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E.
